“Booked the hunt early in ’05 – was a long wait – but well worth it. Thanks so much for everything - from the hospitality, guide service, the awesome food – all was one of a kind! Was the hunt of a lifetime - the memory of that bull moose walking out into the open will be in my mind forever! Thanks to all so much!”

“I had a great time, this was my first guided hunt and I’m glad it was with you guys. I got to see my first moose, hear my first elk, it was so cool. It was great to see everyone again and meet your kids. They are great, I felt like I had three brothers. Your home/lodge was awesome. Thank you again.”
- Jeff Krueger, Wisconsin
P.S. The food was great.

“Well... moose hunt #2 is in the books and still no moose. 10 moose in 9 days (9 in bow range) is a good hunt in my book. I can't wait to get back up here and try again (3rd time will be a charm). Nothing fell apart this time, that is always a good thing. The canned moose meat and moose sandwiches were exceptional. It's good to see a family of cheeseheads are making a good go of it in the great white north. Thanks for everything. It was a great vacation. I will be back soon.”

“What a great hunt! There is not enough paper in this book to write all the good things about this place, the people and the amount of animals seen. Cheri is one hell of a cook, shoot early so you can get back to the lodge and eat her home cooked meals. Not that the food in camp was bad but I’m not giving Paul any credit for that. I will give him this – he is a great guide and knows his stuff, if you listen to him you will have a very successful hunt. I killed everything I came for with him; a terrific bull moose (41”) and a beautiful brown colored black bear. Thanks also to the assistant guides (Phil & Jake) for all the laughs and help with the moose, I would hunt with these two boys anywhere and any place. For two 15 year olds they are very well mannered and professional. I enjoyed every moment with them and their Dad (Paul) in camp. Once again, thanks for everything, it was a very memorable hunt and the scenery was terrific.
Next hunt with these guys will be for a bull elk and grouse and mule deer and whitetail and wolves and everything else this great area offers. Thank you very much.”

“I feel I have been blessed to have the good fortune to hunt all over the nation. I have never hunted in a place like this for the variety of game. One scenario… Hunting on a mountain top powerline with beaver ponds on either side. One sitting we see moose, a whitetail, mallards, a pair of Tundra swans. A pack of coyotes howling is answered by a wolf, then out comes a black bear… unbelievable. The guide was great, the food was great. The extremely long days give you double the time to enjoy it all. Many, many thanks! Hope the future sees you prosper.”

“In the week we spent hunting w/MRO it was apparent they had two problems… game and personnel. They have too much game; and too good a group of people. Although most of us come for a hunt it is typically more than that. MRO was the value added to this very successful hunt. I have had the fortune to hunt numerous places w/many outfitters, few will compare to this! I will be taking back much more than just trophies, memories of a wonderful time in a very special place.”

“What an awesome hunt!! Definitely a hunt of a lifetime. I’ve never walked so much in my life as those first 2 1/2 days hunting, then the action started. Windy conditions on several days, but our guide Franz made the few good days of weather count. Saw lots of animals, mule deer, whitetails, moose and elk. We saw snow and ice and 70 degree weather – unbelievable. The bull moose w/bow was awesome & to top it off with a huge elk on the 2nd to last day made this hunt one that may never be topped but I know I’ll try again. Thanks for awesome hospitality, awesome food & an awesome guide. It’s great to have met your family and thank you Chad for the carved stick. Many great hunts to you, your family & all your hunters.”

“Here we are at the end of a long moose hunt. Things do not always go as you plan or expect. Such is the life of a bowhunter and outfitter. - Bob Stuber, Wisconsin     2004
